Frank Moore
Frank has practised in Launceston since 1983 and has been a partner at Archer Bushby since 1989. He has many years of experience helping people with personal injury claims including workers compensation, motor accidents, medical negligence and other injury claims, as well as a wide range of commercial and contractual litigation including building disputes, debt recovery, professional negligence, property damage and insurance claims.

Kate Alcorso
Kate Alcorso is a Senior Associate of the firm, practising in our conveyancing and commercial department. She has degrees from the University of Tasmania in Law and Commerce with a major in Accounting and has quickly developed a substantial and busy practice since returning to Launceston in 2004. Kate has a special interest in trusts, estates, wills, sales and purchases of businesses, specialised contracts and conveyancing.

Kate is also a fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia in keeping with our team's extended involvement in the commercial field of practice.

Kate can be seen in our Launceston office and attends our George Town office each Monday afternoon.  You'll also find her in regular attendance at our St Helens office. She looks forward to assisting you with your needs.

James Oxley

James graduated from the University of Tasmania with degrees in Arts and Law.  He practises in general litigation with  particular interests in commercial, motor accident and criminal defence litigation.

Jencie Harrington
Jencie holds an Associate Diploma in Farm Management and a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accounting and Finance.

Prior to commencing her legal studies in 2006, Jencie worked as an accountant.

In 2008, she graduated from the University of Tasmanian with a Bachelor of Laws degree, and in August of 2009 she was admitted as a member of the legal profession. Jencie joined Archer Bushby in April of 2010.

Her legal interests lie in all aspects of commercial law and estate planning.

Elise Whitmore

Elise graduated from the University of Tasmania with a combined Arts/Law degree and a diploma in Legal Practice.

After moving away from the North East to complete her studies Elise has recently returned to Launceston to join Archer Bushby.

She practises in commercial law including conveyancing, leasing, preparation of wills, probate and estate administration.

Grant Philpott

Grant graduated from the University of Tasmania with combined Arts and Law Degree, and an Honours Degree in Arts.

Following a year as a judge’s associate he joined our commercial law section. His principal areas of practice are conveyancing, wills, estates and planning.

Megan Philpott

Megan graduated from the University of Tasmania with a combined Arts and Law degree and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.

After completing her studies in July 2011, Megan has joined our litigation section, with a particular interest in personal injuries and commercial and estate litigation.
